So, what are your vices? Guilty pleasures? I am a bit of a sugar addict. But I am also pretty obsessed with my health so I do make an effort to keep it in check. But sometimes I have to really scream real loud to talk myself out of too much sugar. Last week Wednesday was Halloween. And I was thinking about all those kids going door to door and getting free candy and I started to literally salavate. Then I started thinking about all the various types / brands of candy that I would get as a kid and I started to really, really wish I had a little person to take around town and then steal from their plastic pumpkin. I mean, it is sort of sad isn't it? The amount of time and mental energy I devoted to thinking about candy?! Oh whatever, there could be worse things to think about. You want to know another one of my vices? TV and particularly TV that has an emphasis on relationships. Hart of Dixie anyone? I discovered that show on Netflix a couple weeks back and I became instantly hooked. Like crazy hooked. It was like a 40 minute long romantic dramedy! Here is how bad it got: 1. I stayed up one Saturday night until 6 AM watching episode after episode after episode to get caught up on the first season. 6 AM! Who does that for a TV show?! and 2. I started asking Dave questions about Wade and George as if they were actual people that we actually know. I can't recall the questions but I don't think I will forget the look on his face when he finally realized that I was talking about characters on Hart of Dixie. I get that look sometimes and it is a scary look. Luckily he has a taste for crazy and doesn't seem to mind my mild nuttiness too much. In fact, the day I watched Hart of Dixie until 6 AM, when I finally turned it off he said that I was crazy and then told me to tell him about it because if I didn't empty my mind I wouldn't get any sleep. He's a keeper. So anyway, I don't have anything meaningful or intelligent to tell you about but something tells me that if you were looking for meaningful and intelligent you wouldn't be looking here. Hope you have a good night! I'll be back tomorrow with some cheese.
