If you are reading this from someplace warm you are one lucky duck. It is maybe going to be a high of 15 today. What the what?! So I put together this cold weather themed post. And yes, I do realize that it is probably not the warmest coat, but it is cute! And with two scarves and a hat and those shearling lined gloves one might make it across the street to the trolley stop without freezing. And the boots, so cute! I wear rain boots, which are great for sloppy New England winters (hey Midwesterners, when it snows here it melts pretty quickly, leaving puddles instead of 8 feet high snowbanks) but they are not warm at all. I think they make some kind of fleece liners for them but I haven't picked them up. And my gloves suck. I realized that last night when I was walking home from Trader Joes and my fingers were going numb after 6 minutes. 6 minutes! I think I complained about this last year but I guess I can't get out of my own way to do something about it. And here I am always writing about making progress. Now you know my shortcomings. Well, one of them anyway, there is a pretty long list but that is for another time. I hope you stay warm and have a super Wednesday!! (and yes, those boots are both the same foot, I had to clone the image because one boot looked silly. less silly?)
